Neurotype Supported: Autism (ASD)
Sarah, Caregiver & Parent
The first few years after Jason’s autism diagnosis were exhausting. I felt completely alone, buried under medical terms, and scared of every meltdown. Things only started to make sense when a specialist explained that Jason’s running was his way of communicating, a way to escape when the world felt too loud. That moment changed everything. I stopped trying to fix him and began to really see him. When we started using the Visual Schedule template from the Hub for his mornings, the chaos faded. Our days felt calmer, and I finally got to enjoy time with my son again. It gave me both the tools and the support I had been searching for.”

Neurotype: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
For most of my life, I thought I was just lazy. School was a mess of missed assignments, constant noise, and clutter I couldn’t seem to control. When I was diagnosed with ADHD at 25, everything finally made sense. It wasn’t about discipline or willpower. My brain just worked differently, and that realization brought relief instead of shame.
I began shaping my life around how my mind actually functions. I used digital planners and body doubling techniques from the Hub to stay grounded. My workspace is quiet, clear, and set up for focus. In my design work, the same intense concentration that once caused problems now fuels my creativity. I’ve stopped apologizing for how I think and started building on it. That shift changed everything.”
